On behalf of the children, staff and governors, we would like to welcome you to Grove Primary School and Nursery – graded by Ofsted in November 2016 as a ‘Good School’ in all areas including the Early Years. We hope you find our website clear and informative. It is designed to give you a flavour of the energetic life of our school, the work of our pupils and the quality of the curriculum we strive to deliver.
Welcome to our website.
Our website is a source of information for parents who already have children in our school, and also parents considering the school for their children. If you are interested in arranging a visit to the school please contact us on 01684 572516. We are very proud of our school and love to show visitors around. We have the highest expectations for all of our pupils and we work hard to ensure that they are safe and happy. We are committed to raising the aspirations of all our pupils and to developing a positive partnership with parents, families and the local community.
The staff provide a welcoming atmosphere where all children develop self-discipline, respect and a love of learning.
We aim to provide an exciting learning environment with excellent facilities both inside and around our extensive site.
Our school is a dynamic primary school with a Nursery on site, offering places for children aged 2 and above. We are fortunate to have ample space and very good facilities. We have a variety of outdoor learning environments, play areas and extensive playing fields, gardens, Forest School, a wildlife pond and a number of orienteering courses. There is a fully equipped ICT suite, interactive whiteboards in every class and IPads / laptops for personalised learning.
Visitors to our school comment positively on our size and space, our facilities, the stimulating environment and inclusive, caring, family ethos. They describe our atmosphere as friendly and respectful.
If you would like to know more about our school please come and visit. The children and staff look forward to welcoming you.
