Wonderful Work

All around the Grove, you will see examples of our fantastic writing - whether it be from our English lessons, topic lessons or even our Art lessons - take a look below:

This is our whole school 'The Book of Hopes' display - in Autumn 1, we explored different stories from the book to help promote hope, perseverance and resilience upon our return to school.

In Year 4, the children focused on the text 'Daphne and the Doughnuts' before creating their own stories with an animal. They were very proud of their handwriting.

In Year 5, the children completed a local artist study about Antony Bridge - once the children had completed their artwork, they wrote an informative paragraph, detailing about Bridge's life and work.

Year 6 had the opportunity to enter Malvern Civic Society's Literary competition for the first time! They were asked to choose an animal, bird, tree, insect, flower or other plant in the Malvern area and in 300 words: describe it; explain why it was chosen and explain why it is special. We focused on Oak Trees as it represented our class.
