Year 3/4 Tag Rugby
On Thursday 23rd May, some members of Pine and Sycamore had the very exciting opportunity to play tag rugby at Sixways rugby stadium - home of the Worcester Warriors! We were lucky enough to be able to walk down the tunnel towards the pitch before playing a number of matches on the very same pitch as professional rugby players!
The children played their hearts out, many of whom were playing a game of tag rugby for the first time! Despite this, the team came away with 2 wins and 2 defeats, with a fun game against one another to finish the day.
The children left Worcester with beaming smiles and thoroughly enjoyed the experience - "That was fun!" was the most common phrase heard as we headed back to the minibus!
