Year 3 / 4 Gymnastics Festival
On Friday 1st March, Miss N-S took a mix of 14 children from Sycamore and Pine Classes to The Chase to participate in a Gymnastics Festival. The children experienced 3 disciplines of Gymnastics. They spent time learning:
Floor, Body Management / Conditioning and Vault.
They had to learn various moves and then perform a short sequence to the festival. Their sequence had to start with a capital letter, show body tension, point their toes and finish with a full stop. The children remembered to count 3 elephants at the end of their vault to show stillness.
