We've had a busy few weeks in Nursery and we are really enjoying the sunny weather!
We have been improving our role play area. We love playing Mum's and Dad's so we worked together to turn our role play area into a house.
We started to use some tools in Forest School! We've had a go at using a saw, going forwards and backwards lightly to cut a stick. We were very proud of ourselves.
Well done to all of the children who took part in NSPCC number day. We had some fantastic outfits and we spent the week learning all about Numicon.
We have been learning all about the word 'symmetrical'. The children tell us that symmetrical means "it's the same on both sides". We tried making our butterflies symmetrical using paint, loose parts and beads.
We have been learning about the caterpillar lifecycle and we had a very exciting delivery of real caterpillars! we watched them grow bigger, then build a cocoon around themselves before they turned into beautiful butterflies!
